| Comments:Oliver this is a great site, one of the best I've seen. I was attached to 3/1 with 1st. Engineers A Co., 3rd Plt. I put down attach to H&S co., but i don't know if we really were because we went back and forth to the Engineer Bn. area often. I do remember sweeping the road to MarbleMountain Villege and meeting at the village chief's house. We also built a well out at a mortor position in a sandy area. Used to have sweep tank trails often. Always had Kilo and Mike Co. as security. This was in July to October of 67. Then A Co. moved to Dong Ha and stayed with 1St. Marine HQ., on to Camp Evans, Phu Bai, and Hue. Take care and stay safe Semper Fi!
