| Comments:My recoiless rifle was detached to the North Shore of the Cua Viet River with three companies of ARVNs ( ask me why we had to give a tree count ! ) and we were put on Navy landing craft making several runs to Dong Ha firing from a conex box. Several times we deployed as grunts during float phase as November Company ? when our 106's were left on the Valley Forge.Served with H&S Company 3/1 from 10/67 to 11/68, 106 recoiless rifles, 0311. |
