Comments:Ended enlistment with "Pogey Bait " Sixth Marines when I returned from Vietnam in 1966. Am retired High School Social Studies Teacher and work part time as a tour guide at a Civil War battle site here in Missouri. I have filled this form out twice before and my company roster information was not changed. Maybe the third time will be the charm. Semper Fi. Previous comment 11/16/01:Great website. Served with 3/5 from December 63 to April 64. The battalion became a transplacement battalion and became 1/9 in April 64. After a 13 month tour we came home as 3/1.Served with 3/1 until October 66. Finished my enlistment with 3/6 at Camp Lejuene in July 67.A lot of us old timers were at Chu Lai quite a while and points south.
