| Comments: I was with K co. and S2 as a Scout from March '66 until April '67.
I just made new contact with a 3/1 Marine from K Co. 1996/97 RVN...Arrived 3/10/66 in Danang on the USNS General Weigle. Sent to Chu Lai on 3/14/66. On 3/26/66 took part inoperation Texas on 4/16/66 was part of operation Snaggletooth. etc. etc. On 7/30/66 went on R&R in Bangkok with Lou Albert. On 10/9/66 transfered to S2-Scouts in H&S Co. Member (life) of Los Angeles Chapter-First Marine Division Association. Have located many 3/1 Marines in the area. On 11/5/02 I will depart for RVN with Mike Cunha (M Co.& Scout/Sniper). Semper Fi. Served with H&S Co 3/1 Marines from 10 March 66 to 18 March 67, S2 as a Scout, 0311. |
