| Comments:I joined I company in April 68 along Route 9 west of Dong Ha, after spending first 3 months in country at Khe sanh with 26th marines. I was the platoon commander for a couple months, and then for a brief period in summer of 68,the company commander. I remember some good times (and some not so good times) at Nam O Bridge and the Esso Plant. Semper Fi. Served India Co 3/1 from 1/68 to 9/69, 1st Plt, 0311. |
