| Comments:Served as plt cmd. in India co. (CO was Capt. Lynch) and then as XO of Mike co. (CO was Bill Wood). The company grade officers and NCOs and men were the best I have ever known. The great privilege of my life. At India my fellowplt commanders, Livengood and McBride were a joy and an inspiration. I guess we would have said at that time that the company had it xxxx together. Fortune sent me home before the re-fitting transfer to the Rock and the trip back up north. Hard to say I miss these times, but i miss the clarity and the comradeship.
