| Comments:In country Feb.27,1968 - DMZ, Quang Tri Provice, at BAS Camp Kistler, mouth of Cua Viet River. Attached to India Co. March 5, at Camp Carroll/Hwy 9 bridges. In 1st plt 'til March 20, then in 2nd Plt. (Remained in 2nd plt until Sept.1st '68.) April 17, moved to Ca Lu & West of Ca Lu Combat Base on Quang Tri River/Hwy 9. April 28, Hill 512. June 3, USS Valley Forge to Da Nang. Esso Plant, the rest of the summer and then taken back to BAS to work in Admin. a few miles SW of Da Nang Air Base. I was fortunate to have been under the seasoned leadership of Capt. Lawrence Moran and some outstanding Marines in 2nd Platoon. Would enjoy hearing from any of you. Where is: Chavez, Harmon, Ash, Byrne, Pervis, Harris,Yeager,Empy,Riley, Mitchel, Frenchy? Doc's Joyce/Boucher, are you out there?
