| Comments: I was known as "Pete" while in the marines. I Arrived in Viet Nam(DaNang) aboard the USS Eltinge on 1 Jan.67.I Joined India company as a replacement. I can't remember what Plt. I was in at first but later I was in the 3rd Plt. Was wounded twice, About 3 weeks in hospital the first time(Feb.3rd to whatever day). Second time July 17 when Sam Poaletti was KIA. Hospitalized aboard the hospital ship Repose for about a month. I returned to 3\1 but got reasigned to Okinawa for the remainder of my tour.Hope to meet guys I served with.
