| Comments:Update-Been looking for my assistant gunner, Ron Fish from Kalamazoo, Michigan. He and I both ended ended up at Great Lakes Naval hospital in beds next to each other and practically the same kind of wound. Where are you?I have been in contact with Sgt. Major Riley and Capt. Moran . I was wounded 3 times while in Nam. Twice in Dec. 67 - Fortress Ridge and then again on Feb 3, 68. Looking for Jim Blankenship from weapons, Perez, squad leader, Chase, squad leader. Remember when we tried to capture 2 NVA along the Cua Viet River and they seen us sneeking up on them - all hell broke loose!Served with 3/1 India Company from 5/67 to 2/68, 1st & 3rd Plt (guns) 0331. |
