| Comments:I hope to hear from someone I served with, any of you guys remember operation pipestone canyon at Quang nam province parks fesgan and myself was left flank security on a sweep when all hell broke loose fesgan and I was pinned down in an old bomb crater, Parks was pinned down behind an old rice paddy dike, we couldn't return fire the rounds were grasstop high like they knew where we were, then when it all stopped we found out we just had a fire fight with the Korean Marines If anyone remembers that let me know SEMPER FI GaryServed with 3/1 India Company from 5/69 to 6/70, 2nd Plt, 0311. | |
