| Comments:I came home and found out we were all war criminals, wow, I thought we were defending our governments allies against communism. I remember the first time I went to vote. I was on duty and the Gunny gave us time to go to the polls. I was told by an angry bunch of wouldbe voters that I didn't have the right to vote in this country because I was nothing but a baby killer and a disgrace to the country, so I didn't and never have. I eventually realized the US wasn't the country I wanted to live in so I moved to the Philippines and will stay here till I die. I love it here, it's still a paradise, I live on a small island called Camiguin. I live on the beach in a native house and have a wife and daughter. San Miguel never tasted so good. I'm glad to see so many survivors of the Nam on this web site. Served with 3/1 kilo from 11/67 to 05/69, 1st Plt, 0351. |
