| Comments: I was with the 3rd 1st mar reg kiol co. BLT aboard the valley forge, the thomaston and wetstone. Was at Camp Carrol, Dong ha, cua viet river area and danang. My nick name was NOSE cause I could smell the gooks in the bush. Our comander, Lt. Loutz for a while. I was in a special squard called DANGER ALLEY. Got a purple heart and bornze star at Camp carrol. Served all my time in nam before I left I was there for 13 months two weeks 4 days and 12 hours 37 minutes and 12 seconds.Served with Kilo Co 3/1 Marines from 5/67 to 5/68, 3rd plt, 0351/3531. |
