| Comments:Joined K 3/1 right after Double Eagle at Chu Lai. Capt. Gonzales C.O., Lt. Wilbur Plt. Leader, Sgt. Haskins Plt. Sgt.. Friends with Cpl's Medina, Justice and Weathers (Tex), LCpl Bryant, HM2 Waugh. Became friends with SSgt Binkley (2nd Plt. Sgt.) years later in Orlando, FL, he still lives there. Stayed with K 3/1 through the move to Da Nang and until late 66 when transfered to CAC unit located at Marble Mountain. Served with vaious CAP units in the Da Nang and Chu Lia areas until being assigned to Camp Gieger in December 67.Served with Kilo Co 3/1 Marines from 66 to 67, 0311. |
