This is Kilo Company's third reunion. Our first was in 2002 at Jacksonville/Camp Lejeune. Our second was in 2006 at Oceanside/Camp Pendleton. Last year at the battalion reunion in Charleston, it was decided to have a company reunion this year in the Quantico, VA area. Mark has done a superb job in putting the reunion together. This reunion will be a bit more expensive than our two previous reunions but cheaper and much better than our previous "battalion" reunions.
The reunion theme this year is honoring our Corpsmen. Our reunion slogan is: CORPSMAN UP! We owe more to our Corpsmen than we could ever repay. To us they were just "Doc." To the Vietnamese peasants at the med-caps, they were affectionately called "Bac si." The very lives of many of you who are reading this email were saved by your Corpsman... your "Doc." They never, ever, ever, let us down. Our docs continuously and sometimes recklessly exposed themselves to fire in order to save a wounded brother Marine. We want each Corpsman to know that we love him and we are not ashamed to say it. Please come celebrate with us at this reunion that is in your honor.

REUNION CONCEPT:
This reunion will be 4 nights in the hotel and 3 full days of activities. Check in on a Wednesday afternoon and check out on Sunday morning. Our memorial service and Quantico base visit will be on Thursday. We will bus to Washington, DC on Friday, first to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial where we will present a wreath in honor of our fallen Kilo Company Marines and Corpsmen... then bus over to the Marine Barracks, Washington, DC to see the Evening Parade with the Marines Silent Drill Team.
