Participated in Operation Calhoun in Trung Than, Operation Calhoun and Operation Pike in Quang Nam, and Operation Cochise in Quang Tin. WIA in Sept. 67 and medivaced conus in Sept. Still searchin' for old buddies Jerry Diebold, Ottis, J.D.Thomas, J.Simmons, Boyd, Mack, Sampsel, and Willy Fann. On Memorial Day, Sept 29, 2000 one of our Lima 3/1 brothers had his name added to the the wall- DAVID O KAMP (32 East,Line 80) It was great to attend the reunion in San Diego...SEMPER FI !!!Served with Lima 3/1 from 04/67 to 09/67, 3rd plt, 0311. |
