| Comments:It was great to find this web site and to read the stories about operation Badgertooth along with so many other operations.I remember well that day 12/27/67. Pinned down in a creek, the first CH46 medivac that came in. Loading all our wia/kia on board and the ones we couldn't get. The sudden take off with no escape and the feeling when the engines went silent. The impact on the beach. The stormy weather in the days after, wet feet, and the long nights....
The USS Vancouver LPD, our "rear area" we were seldom able to visit. The bridges on road to Kae Sahn, LZ stud, Camp Carroll, the convoy to Dong Ha. The 4th of July at Da Nang. And so much more. SEMFER FI.
