Lima 3/1 company reunion will be held July 10-13, 2008, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Our hotel is the Ramada of Bossier (Exit 23 on I-20), 4000 Industrial Dr., Bossier City, 71112. Room rates are $62 per night. Please call 318-747-0711 for reservations and mention "Lima 3/1 Marines" for the special rate. Friday's activities include Barksdale Air Base, home of B-52s and A-10 Warthogs, and a sightseeing boatride up and down the Red River. Later, we'll go to the Mardi Gras museum, several antebellum homes, then to a classic car showroom. Saturday there will be a memorial service in the hotel atrium, group pictures, then off to Linden, TX., for food and musical entertainment at Music City Theatre. Locally, boucoup cajun restaurants, Bass Pro Shop, Louisiana Downs, thoroughbred horse racing, several casinos, shopping malls, and hospitality deluxe. All within 15 minutes of the hotel.
