| Comments:I finished my active duty in 71, then taught at Nebraska-Omaha for a year. Moved to Tahoe, taught at Nevada, and am on the tail-end of a 26 year career at Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno. My permanent rank in the Corps was Captain.
We just had a mini-reunion in September here in Reno of a bunch of my 1st Platoon folks from 1969: Bramer, Guest, Morris, Davis, Caratelli, Barbarick. It's the third time most of us have been together. Ron Hebert died in April, or he would have made this one. We're trying to find some of the others who served with us, if anyone has any leads. If you haven't gotten with your VN folks, I recommend it. It's good for heart and soul.
