Comments:I served with the best! I was at the desert position on Jan 15,1967. would like to hear from anyone that served with me.My memory isn,t what it used to be,but some things you never forget! Skinny, 6ft 2iches tall. Was sent home for 3 purple hearts after being hit on Jan 15,1967 in the desert position. The Lt. was Paul Paquette,he came up through the ranks -he was cool, but the Lt. that replaced him sure wasn't. The ones that are gone I remember are Orr, Ski, Padella, and Renshaw. The other corpsman I remember are Obee and Rappa. Some other nicknames are Tex.,burt.(Orr was Boo-ga -Loo),frenchy.I went on R and R in Bancock with the marine that had the 3-5 rocket I can't remember his name and other names come and go. I spent many years on the booze and some drugs and thememories come and go. I have a few pictures, but most of them went up in smoke that Jan 15th. Who ever reads this I'm glad you made it back. Semper Fi Semper Fi Served with Mike Co. 3/1 Marines from 9/66 to 3/67, 1st Plt 8404.
