| Comments:Would like to hear from any who remember L/CPL Patrick "Gov" Regan. Hills 37 & 55; CUPP Dai Loc; Hill 267; Operations Lam Son 719 and Scott Orchard; and was there when 3/1 cased the colors and left RVN.I just found your website. I served with Mike Co. 3/1 on Hills 37 and 55; in a CUPP Unit in Dai Loc alongside the Arizona Territory; pulled a platoon sweep looking for rockets in that area; participated in Operations Lam Son 719 and Scott Orchard; was there when we cased the colors, and was among the last Marine grunts to leave country. I got my honorable a week after rotating back to CONUS in May 1971. I'd like to be included on your list of those who served with Mike 3/1. My last name is Regan, but a lot of people pronounced that "Reagan" and because Ronnie was Governor of California at the time, my nickname was "Gov". I was an 0331. Would like to hear from any of the guys I served with.Served with Mike Co. from 12/70 to 5/71, 3rd Plt., 0331-8651. |
