emblum left emblum right Tuesday 23 February 1999 It is with great sadness that I must inform you that retired Marine sniper GySgt. Carlos Norman Hathcock II left us this morning at 0630. GySgt Hathcock went into the hospital last week with a kidney infection and was supposed to come home on Friday 26 February. He also suffered from MS, and for the past two years had been confined to home and bed. Those who did not know this man, missed out on a great gentle and caring person who without reservation gave all for his country. God bless you Carlos, rest in peace.
